August was a very busy month for us. We had a great vacation, school started and on top of it all we bought a home. We decided the time was right for us to get into a home and when we got serious about looking we found our house. It is in the Cortland Ridge subdivision in Ammon. When we first drove into the neighborhood Adam and I both felt that this was the place for us. Adam has already done a TON to make our house home. He planted six trees almost entirely by himself plus about a dozen shrubs. We only had dirt for a yard when we bought the house, but thanks to Adam and my parents we now have grass coming in.
I told Adam if he takes care of the exterior I would take care of the interior of the house. I know it's not a fair trade at all- his job is hard work while mine is fun! I have been saving up for over a year so that I could buy some new things to put in the house and have had a lot of fun so far finding great deals.
We just got a puppy too! He is a German Shepherd /Akita mix and is a big puppy at seven months old. We adopted Max from the pound this weekend and he is adjusing well to his new home. Adam is an amazing dog trainer; he takes Max on at least two walks daily and is teaching him to be behave very well. Adam built Max his very own home and he has his own area just behind our house.
